My Style

The way I photograph is like the way I live my life. Different, Unique, New & Fun. Modern & Vintage at the same time.
I use many different techniques usually not associated with wedding and portrait photography.First of all, I use FILM, which nobody really uses anymore. Some new digital photographers who have not been trained on film, employ a photography style called the Spray and Pray method. They take thousands upon thousands of photos with little regard to composition or exposure. Then they hope & pray for some useable shoots. I tend to do the opposite. I carefully compose my shots and choose the best camera and film for the situation.
Trained in film and educated at the Hallmark Institute of Photography in 1999 and Paier College of Art in 2006, I have also worked as a photojournalist for prominent newspapers & editorial magazines. So yes, I can photograph your wedding in a true photojournalistic style.
In addition, photographing with film gives a more pure & organic feel to my photography. Yes, I also shoot digital as well, as I always embrace the new and I have been a proficient user of Adobe Photoshop since 1998. I would be happy to create a package based on your needs in film, digital or both.

Here are the many techniques I can use to photograph your wedding or session:
Black & White Infrared film
Color Infrared Color film
Cross-Processed Film
645 medium format film
Holga & Other Lomo Cams
TTV Through the Viewfinder
Digital Color & Black & White
Lensbaby
Polaroid

When photographing weddings,
I aim to capture the feel of the day,
rather than every single moment in time.
I capture a laugh, a look, a little
something special. What I do not do is
photograph from a checklist of traditional wedding poses.
