Mom & Dad win a car

1983 plymouth horizon
This car had heat (no a.c.) & a.m. radio (no f.m.) They won it at a Minnesota Twins Baseball game. The man standing with them is former owner of the Twins,Calvin Griffith. I remember that night. I was 5 years old & my parents left me with a babysitter for the night. They told me they would bring me back a surprise (you know, a pennant, a teddy bear, etc.). They came home late that night with a new car! It was perfect timing because they desperately needed a new car. I remember 5 years later, moving from Minnesota to Connecticut in that car with the 4 of us cramped up for 3 whole days.

Poladroid

Another fun application. You get to drag & drop a photo on a "polaroid camera" & the photo develops just as slow as if it were a real polaroid. The cool thing is that you can save a partially developed photo making it extra vintage-y. No replacement for the real deal, but still fun.
I took this photo last winter of this tree in our yard with a Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim Plastic Camera & expired Brooks Pharmacy Film.

Tilt-Shift Maker

Way too much fun!
This was Taken at Snake River Canyon in Twin Falls, Idaho last May. Clinton looks like an action figure.
This application is so easy to use. Has some limitations, though, but not bad being that it's free.

Holiday Recap

I'm starting to relax, finally. Get back into the swing of things. Only one more party left for the season. We will be celebrating my Dad's birthday this weekend with a spaghetti lunch at our house. My kids (I teach high school photography) only have 2 more weeks of the semester, crunch time.
I recently started teaching a new session of preschool gymnastics and preschool art at Berkshire South berkshiresouth.org Next week, I will start student teaching so I can finish up my master's. So, I guess I won't be relaxing in January after all. Oh well.
